aboutme
As a Graphic Designer, I pride myself in my skill set, my learning ability and pursuit of excellence. These qualities, as well as my eagerness to learn new skills, will propel me forward in the field of Graphic Design.
A number of years ago now, back in September of 1997, I began my journey as a Graphic Designer attending school at Platt College full-time. Located in beautiful Newport Beach, California; Platt College is a specialized Graphic Design school and has a wonderfully knowledgeable staff. It was here, after 16 intensive months, that I received my AA degree in Graphic Design and finished first in my class with a numeric average of 97.44% (4.0 G.P.A.).
After school, I returned to British Columbia, where I got a job at a direct mail company named International Direct Response Services and worked there for over three years. I then moved on to a Graphic Design firm named MCG Communications. Recently I chose to leave MCG, after 4 years, in pursuit of new opportunities in the Graphic Design world. While at MCG I created original designs for MCG's multitude of industrial and food clientele playing an integral role in the development of many successful campaigns such as for Moulding & Millwork (as seen in Rona's, Home Depot's etc. all across Canada), Golden Boy Foods, Overwaitea Foods, Earth's Choice etc.
I also recently finished a Dreamweaver course at Langara College (a 3-month course) and achieved an A+. I am looking to share my years of experience and further broaden my scope of design knowledge in both print and website design. With a vast array of software at my disposal – Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Adobe Studio 8 – I can fill all of your print and web needs.
My sincerest hope is that after you view this website, which was created in Adobe Dreamweaver 8 – with the aid of Adobe Illustrator CS2 – that you will have developed an interest in my work, my thoughts, and overall person to contact me and explain how I can help you.
Thank you.
